Requires three years' biological experience in a fisheries or wildlife program and a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries or Wildlife Science or related degree. SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT

We are soliciting speakers to contribute to a session to be held at the World Aquaculture Society annual meeting in Beijing April 2002 concerning the development and utilization of fisheries by-products. This session will be held as part of the sustainability session that will be held over two days.
The aim of this section is to outline efforts being made to improve the utilization of fisheries by-products, including those originating from by-catch, fish processing and aquaculture, in agriculture and aquaculture operations.
If you (or someone you know) are interested, please contact me by email at the address below. The extended deadline for abstracts is end of January 2002. At present, we have openings for about 5 oral presentations. If there is more than this number, it may be possible to contribute a poster instead.

New Rotifer and Copepod Discussion Groups

Reed Mariculture has started hosting two discussion groups through Yahoo Groups for rotifers and copepods. These groups are open to anybody and are for discussion of any aspect of these animals, both in small applications like home reef tanks, and in large commercial operations.
