It is a Regional Project untitled "Scientific Cooperation to Support Responsible Fisheries in the Adriatic Sea". It is executed by the FAO and funded by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Policies (MiPAF). AdriaMed was conceived to contribute to the promotion of cooperative fishery management between the participating countries (Republics of Albania, Croatia, Italy and Slovenia), in line with the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries adopted by the UN-FAO.
